Why four Gospels not just one that is comprehensive?

1. Does the four Gospels conflict? No. They actually complement each other.

2. What is the purpose of having four Gospels? To bring four separate individuals witness to the truth and provide a full picture of Jesus life on earth as the Gospels were written by different individuals, at different locations, at different time, and addressed to different groups of people.

3. To whom the four Gospels were written? Matthew for the Jews, Mark for the Romans, Luke for the Greek, and John for the Christians.
